WASHED AWAY

Do you ever feel like when it's raining, all your troubles are being washed away? You're pretty much being reborned overnight and ready to conquer your goals that you've been dreaming of. That's exactly how I feel right now. I'm listening to good music, the blood is rushing throughout my body (well that could be that espresso I had this morning), and my mind is on a constant move--hungry for inspiration. I have finally have found what I'm looking for. My fears are going away and ambition is taking over. Big things are going to happen, only if you make it happen. If want change to happen, you have to make it happen. 

As each day come, because I'm not currently working, I have been reflecting on my own individuality and how far I have come. I recommend everyone do that one day. Just sit in a room, play some relaxing music and just think about your goals, what makes you happy, and how you want to live your life. Knock out your old habits and take one thing at a time, only you can make yourself happy.

I just want to thank you for reading my thoughts. I appreciate you and you are someone's important friend, lover, and family.

Okay, so if you have not checked out Como La Flor yet, you're totally missing out big time on the most unique floral crowns everrr! I've recently received another package from them with 2 crowns in them, including the one I'm wearing above! Is it not the gorgeous thing you have ever seen?! I'm not going to lie, I was first intimidated by the size of it, but once I learned how to wear my hair with it, I feel deeply in love with it!

I wanted the soft pink hues to pop out a lot so I decided to wear an all black outfit, plus I've been dying to wear my sheer pants. Then I added a white long cardigan to give my look more of a boho style and to add more of an angelic effect. I hope you guys enjoyed todays outfit!

FLOWERS DON'T COMPETE WITH EACHOTHER

I was reading an article today that really upset me. I want to point out that everyone has their own type of beauty and no one defines what it is but you. We're all humans and should be treated equally no matter what the situation is, but I guess I can dream about my own utopia. The world isn't perfect so you shouldn't be either. We all have our flaws and still learning to accept them. My personally flaw? I'm definitely insecure about my teeth (why I never really smile in my pictures) and how I should act around people. I'm insecure about my speech and my social anxiety, I hate being judge by the simplest thing so I just sit there and keep to myself.

No matter what your flaws or fears are, accept them. I know, easier said then done. Well let it be a journey to you and just try things you wouldn't normally do like waking up in the morning and smiling in the mirror. It may sound lame but the simplest things you do daily can affect your self-esteem and your whole day!

Just know you guys aren't alone and keep smiling everyday!

Once again, I want to thank Como La Flor for my lovely Medium Sunflowers floral crown. I totally forgot I had my sunflower print shorts from American Apparel so it's a miracle that I have a matching crown now! I think in order to wear my floral crown, I had to relax my hair so the crown can pop out more.

I never had a chance to actually record this outfit to my blog. I think I should be an Earth Fairy now and live off in the forest forever... until I get hungry and crave french fries lol

COMO LA FLOR

My world is not in the right position lately. I'm either in a outfit block, uninspired, or my mind is on another thing. Either way, I need to get my priorities straight. Maybe it's the fact that I'm never really home, so I should just start recording my adventures, but then again, I need a working camera...

Excuse me while I in 3rd person so I can figure out what the hell I need to do in order to be that girl I was before I moved to California. Is it the lack of personality that I'm currently sheltering due to change of environment? Do I feel like I'm home yet? Or maybe it's the lack of motivation that I'm not allowing into my life. Whatever it is, it is affecting my life quite a bit right now.

In order to get out of this - whatever you want to call it, artist block, maybe - I started a routine of working out, eating food in the morning (which I never do), and making sure my surroundings is somewhat neat (I still need to work on that).

That's enough of me loathing around, I hope I didn't get you guys depressed!

Too brighten up the mood, look at my cute ass floral headbands I got from one of my favorite little shop, Como La Flor! I had some hand bands from them previously but unfortunately they got ruined so this girl was a happy camper when they offered to send me some more! I'M NOT LISTENING

I'm so exhausted! This has by far been the most busy week I have ever been! All I want to do right now is just lay down, eat pizza, and watch Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23 alllll daaaaaaay. I hope everyone had an awesome Halloween! And guess what? There's only 2 more months left in the year! Have you started thinking of your New Years resolution???

How ironic that I'm wearing a turtle neck and actually feeling like a turtle on that day. Everything was just moving sloooow and I just wanted to procrastinate on everything. While being a turtle at work, I found this super cute crop knit sweater  that I had to purchase immediately. I've been having this thing lately with knit sweaters and cardigans, but everytime I buy one I have this great fear of it getting snagged on something. NO REGRETS. YOLO. THUG LIFE.

I've been planning this outfit FOREVER! You have no idea how excited I am right now to finally piece everything together lol. I green lace dress was totally made to be an Poison Ivy outfit. I think the harness totally gives an edgy look to the whole costume. I'm just so happy that I piece this look together lol. Plus, I don't think I've ever put on this much make-up before, but for a n00b, I am proud of my make-up!

BIRTHDAY GIRL // SHOP SPOTLIGHT

Yo, yo, yiggity yo! (Yeah, I totally want Juno there.) So today is my 19th birthday! Another year that I survived to continue to eat poorly, enjoy whatever 19 year olds do and pretend like this day never happened. Just another day in the life of Alexis.

So I've founded this little floral crown shop called, "Como La Flor" through  fashion blogger The River Wolf and instantly fell in love with them! They have a cute selection of different flowers to choose from at such a great price, I only paid $8 for mine! Trust me, you'll never pay over $30 again for a flower crown (I hope you haven't paid that much!) My crown fits perfectly, it's not too tight where I get headaches or too loose that it will fall off my small ass head lol. I
