COACHELLA INSPO

Oh, how my eyes were brought to tears when I found out that Coachella 2014 was sold out. Now I have no hopes of seeing Outkast, Bonobo, A$AP FERG, Kid Cudi, etc. BUT, the savings do start now so maybe EDC 2014 but I'm definitely going to Coachella 2015!

Sunglasses: Choies, Tank Top: Josephine Chaus, Shorts: Charlotte Russe,
Purse: Rocket Clothing Exchange, Socks: Forever 21, Boots: eBay

Just because I'm not going to Coachella doesn't mean I can't dress like it. I'm leaning towards knits and pop of colors for summer heats and easy fun. I've honestly haven't been to a festival since Warped Tour '09 but from my experience, I know for a fact that you're probably going to burn and possibly sweat a river (super corny! I'm sorry to shame you JT.)

You NEED to wear something loose and *cough* airy *cough* like my awesome Josephine Chaus knitted tank top if you want to keep cool. Maybe bring a nice spacey bag that you can fit: a camera, phone, chapstick, sunglasses and tons of water bottles & food!

AUTUMN CALLING

After doing a couple of hours of cleaning, my room is finally clean! My clothes are neatly hanged and my shoes are in order from mostly worn to haven't been worn once. I can only wait to see how long my room will be in completely chaos due to my laziness and my horrible habit of not giving a shit. *le sigh*

Hat: Rosin Headwear, Floral Pocket Tee: Choies, Shorts: Thrifted, Socks: Forever 21, Boots: Armkel

On other news, my floral pocket tee finally came today! The brilliant hues of pinks and burgandies really caught my eye as I was window-shopping on Choies. I thought the best way to style this shirt was to just black out everything else so the colors on the tee can pop. And to give this look more of an Autumn feel, I threw on my Rosin hat to complete my foliage accents.

THIS GIRL

I'm so excited to announce that I will be attending Kansas City Fashion Week! I will be doing coverage to demonstrate the style life that KC has to offer. I will definitely will be snapping pictures away like crazy and pick my favorite outfits from both designers and attendees.

This is going to be my first time ever attending Fashion week so it's a big deal to me, lol. Ugh, I'm just excite to meet fellow bloggers in my area and hopefully create new friends that have the same interests in me when it comes to fashion. Psh, I already have two outfits ready for the events lol!
Sunglasses: Choies, Tank: Thrifted, Kimono: H&M, Shorts: The Vintage Closet, Boots: Chictopia, Purse: Rocket Clothing Exchange

I haven't worn my H&M kimono for quite some time now so I decided today was perfect weather to bring out the blossoms. I wanted to wear something pretty casual today but of course, there's really no such thing as casual because I'm not a casual girl at all, unless I feel like crap and hate the world lol. I wore my boots out for the first time today to try and break them in at work and yeeeeah, I lasted 3 hours straight moving around. I'm definitely going to have to get some foot padding to wear my babies.

LUV SIC

Before you view these photos, I would like to warn you that you will see a weird thing above my left knee. Do not be alarm though, out of boredom I drew on myself to get an idea on what type of tattoo I want. My parents are going to kill me but I really want one on my thigh. I might just get an piece of Conrad Roset somewhere. <3
Sunglasses: Choies, Top: J. Crew, Shorts: Thrifted, Boots: Chictopia

Who would have thought it would be in the 90s today -.- I found my old J. Crew button-up that I haven't worn in forever. I bought it a couple of years ago at Buffalo Exchange. Unfortunately you can't see the super cute detailing of the gold trim within the shirt.

CROSS MY HEART, HOPE TO DIE

Ahhhh, perfect weather again for this weekend. I hope you kiddies are having great weather like I am today. It's funny because I feel like I talk about the weather in every post. Maybe I should just major in meteorology and become a weather lady for channel 7 news with Dallas Raines. Yes, big dreams coming to Alexis lol

Flower Crown: Como La Flor, Sunglasses: Choies, Shirt: Heritage 1981, Shorts C/O: The Vintage Closet, Shoes: Thrifted

I AM BEYOND EXCITED FOR MY VINTAGE CIRCLE GLASSES! I waited a whole month for them and they're finally here!
