HEY, NOVEMBER

   Well, hello there to who ever is reading this. It is I, Alexis and I am still alive. It's been some time and with time that means there was plenty of changes. I don't even know where to start honestly. I'm currently reside in Los Angeles (still) and doing pretty well. I'm in my first apartment, got a new job, and still trying to figure out my life, lol. That's just a mini re-cap of what's happening with me, but there will definitely be more posting on this platform and of course my Instagram. ♡

   Believe it or not, this outfit was inspired by that good 'ol 90's photo of The Rock. Oh yeah, you know which one I'm talking about. Just in case you're not sure, take a look here, lol. Anywho, it's finally getting a little chilly here in LA which only means one thing, it's mock neck season - nothing pumpkin spice here on this blog. Anyway, you're going to be seeing a lot of Canadian tuxedo this season because, why not?

Hey kiddies! Sorry for this BEYOND late post. I was supposed to post my first video, but I'm currently having some technical difficulties. -__-

Anywho, I'm going to start to do bits & bits of changes around on my blog. I'm sure you noticed by the new banner *cough cough*. But anywho, I have tons of pictures to upload from my recent adventures but I need to moderate them some how where they don't clutter the blog! I'll think of something very soon! I hope everything is catz & dogz with you (whatever that means, right? It just sounded cool at the moment lol.)

Yup, it's those damn sunflower print shorts again! I haven't worn them in awhile and I definitely want to wear the hell out of them before summer is officially over. It's already starting to get a bit chilly here... unfortunately. But I thought I'll try to wear them differently than last time and do something a bit more casual. I pieced the shorts with a plain black collar shirt to bring out the colors and my awesome (recently shurken) Levi's jean jacket!

FAIRFAX PLEASE

'Sup kiddies! I say today was a semi-productive day. I'm planning out my life within the next 5-7 months, and it seems pretty hectic. Once again, I'm homesick from my beautiful sweet California. I have hopes of being out there for my birthday (*cough September 8th cough*). But for now, the Plaza and KCMO will have to be my home. 

I know you guys are probably bored of my hideous white wall, but I promise you my settings will change!

So, I am totally not wearing my brothers hat or shirt ha, ha, ha. Well crap, look how freakin' cool they are! Where else are you going to find a 5-panel hat with flamingos on them or a shirt that straight out says "ratchet?" Yeah, I thought so lol. Anywho, I planned this outfit as if I was heading out to Fairfax Ave. Just hanging around all the street brand stores seems so nice right now. Soon, soon.. 

Also, I bought my first pair of Levis! I love them and they're super comfortable! Yup, I have found my favorite pair of jeans and I will never part ways with them, EVER.

Levi's Jean Jacket: Rocket Clothing Exchange, Necklace: Forever 21, Divided by H&M Dress: Rocket Clothing Exchange, Socks: Windsor, Steve Madden Heels: Rocket Clothing Exchange

So I did a mini shopping haul at work the other day (nauuuuughty), and bought this super cute Divided by H&M Color Block dress and Levi's Jean jacket! I love the fitting of the dress so much! It's not too tight on top area and the way it flows at the bottom is super cute. I bought the Levi's Jacket in a medium it seems to be a bit TOO big so I'm going to shrink it and hopefully it'll be the perfect fit. Wish me luck!
