NASTY GALAXAY

Well looky here. Yup, it's me with another blogpost. I know I have said this before but I'm finally back in the groove where I can balance school, work, and blogging (even though I'm supposed to be studying right now). How's everyone's Fall going so far? Mine, it's completely miserable. I mean, what's Fall with 100 degrees weather in California. I know California is known as the sunshine state but to be honest, I'm ready for rain and statement jackets. What's the weather like at your city? Hopefully it's waay better than here. ♡

So I'm going to be real, I took these photos like 3 months ago but never got a chance to upload them. I'm lying. I had plenty of time to upload them but I just rather be eating cereal and watching The Amazing World of Gumball all day. Anywho, I went crazy one week and bought this super cute plunging neck bodysuit from Nasty Gal ( it was on sale!). I love how simple it is and I don't have to worry about nip-slips. Of course I had to have tons of hardware accessories on so I paired the look with the Nasty Gal Rule Them All Larait Choker and Jeffrey Campbell's Temeku Boots. I guess you guys can tell what's my favorite brand of all time, huh? lol. ♡

HELLA NOCHELLA

Happy summer friends! I hope everyone had an amazing spring break! I've been so busy with school and work that I finally have sometime to myself. I cleaned the house and organized my clothes (finally, lol). Shout out to the people that have the same Coachella blues as myself, but thank god there's Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, and twitter to keep up with the festivities. I mean, you're practically seeing them for free, right? Right?
Vintage Dress: Buffalo Exchange (Santa Monica)

In celebration of Nochella, I brought out my this beautiful vintage nightgown that I just purchased from Buffalo Exchange in Santa Monica. I adore the simple detailing of the baby roses and the floral reefs embroidered all around the dress. It's super lightweight and super see through so it's perfect over bathing suits or being around 10,000 people for a fun weekend. I paired the dress with my staple Brandy Melville jacket and H&M booties for a bit of edge. For accessories I'm wearing my handy-dandy clear frame sunglasses from Crap Eyewear. Then I purchased this ah-mazing O-ring choker from Nasty Gal! It's vegan leather and I love how it's just a kick-in-the-face necklace that brings the whole outfit together.

BIG GIRL THINGS

Hi friendys! Hope everyone is enjoying life right now. I have been beyond busy with school and working over almost 40 hours a week! The greatest thing happened to me recently? Can you guess what? Yes! I finally got a new camera and it's amazing so definitely expect a blogpost weekly (besides finals week because, well yeah, ya know?).  I'm headed home to visit my family for Thanksgiving and I seriously can't wait to stuff my face with whip cream and a side of pie, lol. What are you looking forward to for Thanksgiving? Family, food, and maybe partying it up with friends?

My looks have been pretty simple lately for Fall. Black and white outfits with a hint of a fun design like this awesome vintage Korean military jacket. I love finding amazing pieces like this Team Spirit bomber jacket, not only because of the Korean/American flag patches on the sleeves and the dragon embroidery on the back, but the history that it actually holds. I feel like I'm a walking piece of history while wearing it! I just so happened to double my staples with this look by wearing my Jeffrey Campbell Temeku boots! These boots are the best thing ever, but far from comfy. They fit me pretty snug but they still give me blisters unfortunately, even though I've been broke them in for awhile now. And then the rings dig into my ankle so I always have to adjust them. They're just those pair of boots that you wear if you're not going to do a lot of walking in them so prepare to sit and look pretty in them! ♡

WITCHY VIBES

I'm getting the hang of everything all over again! Thank you everyone who has been supporting me throughout the year! I don't know how long I've been doing this but I have made a lot of online friends doing so. Just a little reminder that nothing gets the job done but you. Give it all of your 10000% and things will get better. Trust me, I know it's easier said then done. I've gone through periods of time where I would just be depressed and not want to do anything at all. Life happens all the time and sometimes you just have to punch it in the face and let them know that you're here to stay. That's enough ranting for now, lol. I'm not good at giving advice at all lol.

My Nasty Gal bodysuit has been sitting in the closet for over 2 months and to be honest, that's not acceptable at all. The last time I wore it was the first blogpost I introduced here. I wanted to style it different so I decided to go with more of a. edgy boho feel. I paired it with a basic H&M taupe skirt, fringe booties, and my Deandri Beltspenders-Harness to spice things up. I'm totally getting witchy vibes from this look! ♡

BAD TO THE BONE

Hi friends! Hope you guys aren't suffering heat strokes like I am today. I literally just want to go to the beach and attempt to go swimming (a.k.a just dip my feet in the water). Well I have good news and bad news. Good news, I'm leaving off to my new home in Santa Monica! Bad news, I won't have a camera for awhile so I don't know what my blogpost consistency will be like. I'm pretty bummed about that, but I promise I'll save up fast to get a camera soon. From now on, follow my Instagram and Snapchat, yeah? @AlexisSplash

I'm making this nice and short because I haven't packed anything and I'm leaving tomorrow morning.

All eyes on the Nasty Gal bodysuit, please. Yes, let it sink into your eyes and soul because this is the best thing  I have in my wardrobe right now! I first saw the bodysuit on Erica Lavelanet of The Fashion Philosophy and instantly fell in love! When I went to go buy it, it was already sold out! So I waited, and waited, and waited. Until it finally came back in-stock! I purchased it in a size small, which ended up being a little bit big around the arms. It does fit true to size, I just bought mine in the wrong size. I made a giant sacrifice and sold my favorite UNIF jacket on my Depop just so I can buy this bodysuit. Am I a little salty about it? yes. Do I regret it? never.  Unfortunately, the bodysuit is already sold out and I haven't found anything similar. You can always request to get an email to notify you when it restocks.

Of course, I'm in this "All Black" phase right now and I'm really trying to get out of it. I promise next blogpost will consist of color. Pinky promise. By the way, I apologize that I always leave my stupid scrunchie on during my shoots. It's just a horrible habit of always having it on incase of a hair-emergency.

BLONDE AND INKED

Hi friends! Long time, no read. Spring semester is finally over (well technically next week) and I have WAY more time and motivation on my hands now. As you can see I kinda went through an identity crisis and went blonde and got tatted up ( I'll get to that in second.) I'll be moving in 2 weeks to Santa Monica to attend SMC so I'm super excited. It's a change of scenery, people, and more importantly food. My cousin cooks amazingly so I'll be stuffing my face non-stop. How is everyone else doing? Aren't you glad this semester is finally over?

Ever since I dyed my hair, I've been wearing nothing but black. I'm not quite sure how to wear my hair now where it doesn't clash with what I want to wear. If you have any tips, let me know because this has become a real challenge for me. I wanted to show off my tattoos so I put on this crop tank I bought from eBay and layered underneath is my all time favorite Unif Salem Bra to add that harness feel to it. Then I of course put on my Zara jeans because they make my butt look nice lol. And finally I finish the outfit with the Nasty Gal Shoe Cult Alkali Flatforms. I felt like the flatforms adds a pop to the look where it just isn't a bland all black outfit.

Now I'm going to talk about the totally cool Ink Box tattoos I have. Ink Box is a fruit-based tattoo kit that dyes your skin to look like a real tattoo for two weeks. Every tattoo is is hand-cut and their ink is certified organic. It's a no-pain no-gain type of deal, which I love! I've been dying to get a tattoo but too terrified of the pain. These are my first tattoos from them and it came out pretty good, even the fact I did everything with one hand lol. I HIGHLY recommend them if you're not ready to make a commitment with a tattoo or like me, afraid of the pain. Make sure to check them out and let me know if you bought any! They has tons of stencils to choose from! Also, a percentage of every sale goes towards supporting local indigenous communities in Panama, where their ink is from. That's real important to me because that's where my family is from so please help out! ♡
