RED, BLACK, & METALLICS

Happy friday everyone! I'm spending my day watching Saturday Night Live and possibly going to the thrift store since I got a 40% off coupon! Yes, this is the highlight of my day, lol. Well also I have to work on a group project for my Intro to Fashion class. I have to create a line of clothing for all the consumer groups. Luckily, I got Generation X, which shouldn't be difficult. Even though I want to sleep & eat. ♡

Plaid Overalls: Melrose Shop
White top: J. Crew

I really, really like this outfit! This look was inspired by fashion blogger Alyssa from Ordinary People's NYFW look. Definitely check her blog out if you enjoy minimalistic looks and great photos for inspiration. To create a look similar I wore MeUndies Rawk Tank, a pair of nylons that I haven't worn in FOREVER, Schoolz Sandals, bright red overalls I bought in Melrose, J. Crew top tied around my waist, and of course layers necklace.

I love how red & black is becoming trendy this season. The pop of color to a minimal/simple outfit is really refreshing. Of course you have to add a hint of metallic elements to the look, but that's just my personal preference. ♡

OPEN UP, NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE

Guys. Guys. I'm outside, at a park. Taking photos. Woah. Bruh. This is certainly out of the norm but it just so happens that I was out running errands and it was golden hour in Palmdale. First I bought a raspado (vanilla and la lechera -- condensed milk, just in cased you need to know) and my boyfriend and I started walking across the park to find great locations to take pictures for my blog. It was ironically fun for me! I'm usually shy when I take photos out in public but I was able to ignore everyone and everything around me and just focus on the camera. I'm not going to lie, I was a bit uncomfortable due to awkward eye contacts and the fear of being hit by baseball or soccer ball.
How do you usually handle taking photos in public?

Joni Wide Brim Hat c/o Calico, Fringe Vest: H&M, Collar Shirt: J. Crew,
Cutoffs: Thrifted, Booties c/o Heavenly Couture (similar)

I had the sudden urge to wear my J. Crew collar shirt and I thought it would look great with my H&M fringe vest! I'm sorry you guys have seen me wear the fringe vest, Joni Wide Brim Hat, and the Calico boots over and over again but I just can't get enough of them! I styled them in so many different ways so I hope you're not bored of them yet! I promise you I won't wear them in my next posts! Well, maybe.

PAISLEY OVER PLAID

I'm finally debuting my new hair on da blogz! I've been dying to do something different with my hair for the new season and I was beyond scared to cut off anymore hair and I didn't want to bleach it for my great fear of damaged hair. So what did I do? I went dark as night with blue tint! I'm in LUV with the color, even though my mom disapproves. but thug life!

Next week is Halloween and I'm super, duper, ultra excited to show you guys my costume!

T-Shirt: Buy Me Brunch, Shorts: Thrifted, Top: J. Crew, Boots: Armkel

I guess I went a bit over board with the black, huh? To get ride of this monochrome I wanted to add a pop of color but I wanted to use a different pattern then the now starting-to-get-old grungy plaid. Paisley does this perfectly! Thank you J. Crew for creating such a cute piece with great colors!

DEANDRI X CHOIES

It's day two of taking photos outside and little kids were staring at me. I swear I was going 5o get jumped by 6 year olds because I'm hanging out in their territory. Shit was getting real for 0.6 seconds lol. It feels like Fall is officially here with 75 (F) degrees weather and a slight breeze.

With this glorious weather upon Johnson County I still managed to get sick. I just want to eat ice cream all day and sleep, but that really isn't going to help me. ;___;

Glasses: Choies, Sweater: J. Crew, Harness: Deandri, Shorts: Thrifted, Boots: Armkel, Purse: Rocket Clothing Exchange

I got my Deandri harness today! I'm so in love! I've been wanting a harness for so long but was always too broke to get one. Now that I have one, expect to see it a lot as part of my major fall staples of the year. I paid $45 + shipping and it was a today priority mail. It has re-adjustable straps so it can fit you to the T (I think that's how the phrase goes lol. Do I smell a IFTU coming????
