CALICO COLLABORATION

I'm so tired! I've been working almost everyday, oh yeah, I started my job at the mall! I'm surprise I actually decided to do a blog post today but I couldn't help it! I just recieved my new "I'm-going-to-wear-this-hat-almost-everyday" hat (aka Joni Wide Brim Hat) from Calico!

I first discovered Calico while I was wandering around the style world of Chictopia. They have an actual store location in New Bedford, MA as well as an online store for your shopping in bed days. They carry various styles from chic to edgy and awesome brands like Cheap Monday, Mink Pink, and Dolce Vita, just to name a few. Speaking of Dolce Vita, they carry these beautiful Dolce Vita Poppi Sandals that I am drooling over as I am typing this, hehe.

Calico was so awesome to give me $25 in store credit and purchased whatever I want from their website. The first thing that popped into my head was of course the Dolce Vita Poppi Sandals (go ahead and take a second look because they're so beautiful), but being a poor peasant that I am, I went for the second best thing that is essential for the summer. The Joni Wide Brim Hat, duh! I've been wanting a wide brim hat for so long, but I wasn't trying to pay $100 for just a hat. Do you know how many chili cheese fries I can get from Del Taco with a $100?! Well I'm not doing the math, but I do know that this hat was the best choice and such a great neccesity added into my closet.

I actually wore this outfit to work today! I had the needs to wear my David Bowie tee since I've been neglecting it for so long. I wanted to dress comfortable too so I put on my favorite pair of Forever 21 jeans, Steve Madden Schoolz sandals for the heat, vintage jewelry, H&M fringe vest, and Joni Wide Brim Hat to complete my boho look. You can say I was a happy, comfortable, cute girl today lol.
