MOMENTUM OVERLOAD

I think I'm in a point in my life (this very moment as I am typing these words) were I'm appreciating the people and simple things that I have in my life. All the support that I receive about my blog, 9-5 job, and even school has been a great momentum for me. I would like to pass on this momentum to you guys and hope to inspire you to do better and enjoy everyone and everything to the fullest. In short, I'm just letting you guys know that I appreciate everyone of you! ♡ ♡

What do you know, I'm outside again! I want to start taking more photos at different locations other than my room to add diversity to my blog. My boyfriend and I ended up at our old high school taking photos. Usually people would get kicked out for photographing at the school but we were pretty slick not to get caught, or they just didn't care, lol. Thank god for boyfriends, they're like your free photographers lol. Do any of you ask your boyfriends, family, or just friends to take your photos?

I would like to apologize for my showing my bra straps in my outfit. I totally could have avoided this situation but I wasn't prepared so thug life lol. So shall we talk about this combination between a shirt and a maxi, please? Once again, I bought this top from Image and I'm beyond in love! The lightweight, double slit is perfect for Summer and can easily transition into Fall. I love the modern look so I wanted to create a monochrome by adding all black pieces such as my favorite Joni Wide Brim hat and Fringe booties. I couldn't help but add my cute cat phone case because it matches so perfectly. Doesn't it remind you of Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service? lol.

  4. Gorgeous look ! Hair, piercings, lipstick, jewelry ~

And I've taken all my photos, except for two looks. My mother took those. I prefer doing it myself, or working with someone who wouldn't mind staying for a while I explore new angles, lighting ideas, and face expressions. Psh, I could get into a conversation about this, haha. Once I'm able to use some sort of camera again, things will get SO exciting; and I'm excited for that !

  7. that top is gorgeous - I've not seen one like it before but it looks dope with your outfit choice - and ahhh you have your septum pierced - I want that done so badly but the way my fear of pain is set up lol looks like it won't ever be happening :( xx

    1. Hey ! I can think of a few ways to handle the piercing, because I thought the same, yet I got a septum AND then a tongue piercing a year later. I was afraid of both experiences, and I still went for it because I felt like I needed it in my life, haha.

      1. How do you feel when you stub your toe ? If you can deal with that, or gradually cry less (lol) then you can handle it.

      2. How do you feel when your blood is taken ay the hospital ? I personally can handle it, although I don't like to look when the needle appears. I forced myself to stare after the needle went in, so I could SEE what it wasn't bad, especially since I didn't feel in pain.

Overall the key is to trick your mind, because it will freak out over 'simple' things. Everyone is braver than they think, yet they should know their pain tolerance. Ironically for me, I guess, getting the Monroe piercing hurt more than the other two ! Haha. So, really, I think it can get done.

And Alexis, I hope you don't mind me leaving a long reply to her. I feel like I'm bombarding your page .. I don't know how to message her directly.

    2. Oh my gosh .. Just remembered ..

      3. I also pinched that inside part of my nose where the septum ring would go. I realized that my nose has not ever dealt with anything interrupting it besides having a cold, so I wanted to prepare it, and myself, for pressure. It helped me a lot. I pinched with my finger, and then gradually harder with my nails. You'd be purposely hurting yourself, which sounds pretty darn insane to me, lmfao .. I have to say, though, that it was another mental trick that worked for me.

    3. Thanks so much! You can actually find the top on ebay as well! The septum piercing didn't hurt like an actual nose piercing. It's one little pinch and you're done! I'm sure you can get passed your fears. ♡

  10. I've been in this point of my life since I got that panic disorder thingy :D It's such a life changing experience. I now appreciate the little things, I love my life and I don't fucking care what other people say or think.
And I looove this outfit! It's so sexy and funky, the boots are awesome!
HAha, yes, my boyfriend takes all of my photos. I feel so bad for him, because I constantly herd him like a sheep from this spot to that spot, and he's so lazy .. :D

    1. That's great to hear that someone feels the same as I do! Thanks! The same with my boyfriend lol. But he makes me feel comfortable when taking pictures so it's not like two awkward people just talking photos, it's just him lol ♡
